24x36
Fine Art Portrait & Documentary Interview Series
24x36 - named after the skeuomorphic dimensions of full-frame digital camera sensors and their predecessors 35mm film negative predecessors - is a portrait series focused on the micro-generation at the tipping point between Millennials and Gen Z. The series pairs sharp, uncannily real and almost 3D wide-angle portraits with interview excepts of the subjects discussing how their experiences in the early 2000s shaped them, as they came of age at the dawn of digital art, social media, and online video sharing.
The photos are presented as large scale 24x36 inch archival inkjet prints, alongside printed quotes from the interviews.
