Coming Home (2018)
48-hour short film challenge
As a senior at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Joseph completed a 48-hour solo short film challenge where they produced the narrative short Coming Home. As part of the challenge, they worked as the entire crew (producer, director, cinematographer, etc.) for the film, and completed all production in a single weekend.
The film features actors Alicia Hartz, Erin Noll, and Angela Carbone portraying three sides of a troubled relationship. Joseph, in a departure from their original studies as a playwright, endeavored to tell the story with minimal dialogue, instead allowing the visual elements and actors’ performances to carry the story.
